This week we interview (#13) Phil Abraham, Founder of CloudFace about complexity science, cloud solutions, and more.

About Phil Abraham:

Phil is a true visionary working to create great products for big problems! Recent innovative developments include a collaboration between CloudFace and several technology firms, connected car operations, healthcare suppliers, group purchasing organizations (GPO’s), cutting edge RFID and GEO-FENCE firms and strategically linking large healthcare systems in each region of the United States to improve on the Internet of Things. In addition, significant accomplishments have been made in Cybersecurity with impact in Homeland Security facilities, manufacturing and financial institutions.

Phil is supported by a long list of accomplishments ranging from creating one of the world’s top supply chain management systems – Manugistics – to having the once in a life-time opportunity to be hand selected by Mr. Harry Pearce, Vice Chair of General Motors (retired). That assignment led to the creation of a Cloud solution that would migrate the entire Global General Motors organization to the Cloud. This led to the creation of Covisint which has gone public.

Phil led both Kmart & Wal-Mart in implementing many of his cutting edge ideas. The founder of Domino’s Pizza, Mr. Tom Monaghan, asked Phil to create a global technology platform that would be used to convince Bain Capital to purchase Dominos. Phil was also asked by the Federal Government to go deep inside the infrastructure and develop complex analytical tools that would ensure that large complex organizations would stay safe.

Phil is a leader in emerging new technologies and complex organizations in a world of virtual technology Hybrid SDN. Phil enjoys being an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Michigan University where he lectures on a wide variety of courses that include complex technologies and emerging new technologies.
